Pedro Pablo was born in Cali, Colombia in 1965
and raised in
a
musical family. His father, Pedro Pablo Rodríguez
Sr., played the bandola – a
typical Colombian
instrument - with famous Colombian musicians. Pedro
Pablo Rodríguez Jr. started his musical studies at
the age of eight at the Angelica Ortiz Musical
School in Cali. He sang in different school groups
and later became a member of Ars Nova, now
Bell Canto, a prestigious chorus in Colombia,
playing guitar and singing baritone for 10 years.
During that time he was a special guest at the "Mono
Nuñez Festival" in Ginebra,
Colombia.
Since
the year 2000 he has been residing in South Florida
where he has continuously performed in artistic and
social events. Pedro Pablo has also been a guest in
several international TV shows.
In his compositions you can
appreciate the influence of his the Latin heritage.
Pedro Pablo is the composer and
producer of "Somos el Futuro”,
the Spanish version of the international song
project "We are the Future", a
beautiful song created in the United Kingdom by Paul
Weston and sung in Spanish by award winning artist Luisa Lubell.
One of his latest works was a song called " Weston
A Little Piece of Heaven” a beautiful song that
identifies the city of Weston, Florida. Pedro Pablo
is also a successfull jingle composer.
He writes both lyrics and music.

He has recorded seven promotional musical albums
including:
"Contigo", in 1999, beautiful selection of
boleros, "Bon
Appétit",
in 2001, a wonderful selection of international
music. “Bon
Appétit
II", a splendid selection of
contemporary songs, in 2002 . “Bon
Appétit
III”, in 2003, "Latin
Legacy" in 2004 and “Bon
Appétit
IV” in 2005.
Pedro Pablo Rodriguez is
also greatly in demand as an outstanding teacher.
He has
created an easy guitar method called “Enjoying
the guitar” (Disfrutando la guitarra).
He is a professor of music and guitar at the
Music Institute of Weston and the Art Institute of
Weston,
Florida.
